Our Unique Perspective
SK Consulting helps organizations position themselves for thriving futures during times of changing conditions and organizational challenges. We have over 45 years’ experience in leading and building high-functioning organizations in the Wellness Sector. We have personally faced and overcome almost every challenge and obstacle that an organization can face, whether they be “soft” problems in the arena of culture or staff cohesiveness, or “hard” problems of money, procedure, structure or strategy.
While we have a broad theoretical background, our approach is fundamentally grounded in deep experience and insight, and is therefore highly nuanced and entirely practical. Our style is frank, direct, and kind. We deal with life as it is—fiscally, logistically—but also know that emotional intelligence is at the heart of motivating people, the real building blocks of organizations. We foster a high-trust, high-respect environment with our clients—and together, everyone can freely express and grapple with the challenges and opportunities being faced, with honesty and rigor.

I would like to take you up on your suggestion to put partial bios so we can fit more bios on this page with a “more” link that either goes to a new page or just extends itself when the more link is hit. We need three bios to start so I would run the bios in a vertical stack with Patton 1 st , me second, and Ramona Kelly 3 rd
Plus, I want head shots in the individual bio sections, and I am wondering if we can try the idea of making the head shot fit in the full box with the text under the head. Not sure you can make this work so let’s discuss when we meet.
Let Us Help Your Organization Thrive
Patton Sarley is an experienced and award-winning business consultant and C-Suite executive. He has developed countless strategic/business plans and executed them through developing inspired workforces.
Over his storied career, Patton has guided executive teams in crafting high-impact strategies and helping those teams implement them powerfully across a variety of industries (e.g. education, wellness, media) and in organizations at different lifecycle stages. He is especially talented in helping organizations at crucial growth inflection points plan for a new future, developing meaningful products, and getting underperforming businesses on the path to sustainable growth.
Patton has served in a number of C-level roles with organizations like the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health and the Omega Institute for Holistic Studies. During that time, he strategically positioned these organizations to not only succeed, but thrive. He increased Omega Institute revenues, for example, from $6.9M to $13.6M over an 8-year period. He achieved this by restructuring the organization, transforming the orientation of mission and culture, building a fundraising capability, expanding and upgrading the campus, developing unique programs, and creating powerful strategic partnerships.
Patton boosted Kripalu Center revenues from $14.7M to an impressive $30M within four years by infusing the culture with new inspiration and a deep connection to mission. He created and executed a new organizational structure and strategy, leading a comprehensive re-branding effort, developing a values- and achievement-based reward system, expanding/upgrading housing, launching proprietary programs, and attracting philanthropic support.
These and other accomplishments were celebrated by Ernst & Young when they nominated him as an Entrepreneur of the Year finalist in 2007.
Most recently, Patton developed the launch strategy and initial identity development for the 1440 Foundation’s philanthropic efforts. Patton subsequently became the lead consultant for the development and launch of 1440 Multiversity, a $100 million, 75-acre, 350-bed learning center near Santa Cruz, California.
Patton works directly with clients to achieve enhanced performance, clear identity, financial planning, and strategic approach. Ila leads execution-oriented services such as programming, content development, marketing, communications, and operational planning.
Patton and Ila are bi-coastal, their passions include yoga, hiking, the outdoors, family, and their own personal development individually and as a couple.
